This story begins all the way back in 1995, with an eight-year-old bright eyed Chaz Davies competing in the British Mini Moto Series. Even from a young age, it was clear Chaz was talented, so in 1999 at the age of 12, Chaz raced in the Aprilia Challenge 125cc Championship, despite being years too young for the competition.
It was clear that this youngster could punch well above his weight and with racing maturity was far beyond his years, he quickly rose through the ranks on the tarmac, both on the British and World Stage.
As his career grew, so did his achievement. Davies took accolades such as Superteen of the Year through to being a Young Sports Personality of the Year nominee and he showed no signs of stopping. In 2011 Davies was crowned Supersport World Champion with his professionalism and consistency throughout his racing career remaining unrivalled.
Davies made the move to the WorldSBK with Aruba/It Ducati Racing team in 2014 and has secured an outstanding 25 wins and 44 podiums with the team. 2020 has yet again been a good year for the Brit who has also infamously formed a bromance with his fellow Muc-Off team-mate Scott Redding. The pair have pushed each other to new heights with their on-track battles leaving you gripping the edge of your seat.
In 2021, Chaz will be riding for the GoEleven Team on the WorldSBK track - and although his leathers will be looking a little darker this year, we know that the change in team won't mean a change in standard!
