Muc-Off was founded in 1994 and are now the leading supplier of specialist cycling cleaning and maintenance products in the UK. Following 5 years of explosive growth the company is expanding fast into the European, Asian and North American markets focusing on its core categories of cycling, motorcycle and Athlete performance products & Muc-Off are now recruiting a Global Sales Head for their motorcycle division.
ABOUT THE ROLE
As the business continues to grow there is a need for a dedicated head of motorcycle sales who will report into the Global Sales & Business Development Director.
- Driving motorcycle sales in all markets in line with the aggressive growth plans laid out in the Muc-Off 5 year strategic plan
- Assessing the current distribution base to ensure we have the right partners for future growth
- Working closely with the Motorcycle Marketing Manager to build country specific plans to grow market share
- As the division grows recruiting additional account management resource
- Analysing global trends to identify sales opportunities for current products in new markets
- Analysing product performance to identify ways to build more profitable sales mix in all markets
- Working with the new product development and operations teams to ensure new products are launched on time and with maximum impact
- Understanding competitor sales and marketing activities in detail and building frim plans to aggressively grow Muc-Off market share in the face of these competitors
This is a position for whom the ideal candidate is an avid motorcycle enthusiast with a strong level of commercial sales experience, ideally in the motorcycle market.
The successful candidate will thrive working in a fast paced, energetic environment for a brand that is growing fast and has huge ambitions globally in the coming years.
It is essential that the candidate has strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills and will need to be comfortable working in a high growth environment as well as being comfortable with a reasonable amount of international travel.
