About the role

As the business continues to grow at a fast pace, we are looking for a Management Account. In this role you will be required to provide accounting support within the Finance team, to ensure key financial close and day to day activities are complete in a robust and timely manner. The role will also act as a key supporting role for the Financial Controller.


Key responsibilities

  • Work with various stakeholders to support the development of understanding of key business processes and develop commercial and operational understanding
  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Lead in the preparation and review of accurate p&l's to ensure all numbers reported are accurate and discrepancies understood and investigated
  • Bank and cash management, including short-term and long-range cash forecasting and balance optimization
  • Approval of payments, purchase orders and other spend
  • Control of billing (accuracy, timing etc.)
  • Management of CAPEX and other major expenditure
  • Ensure internal controls are in place and are applied/adhered to
  • Provide Financial Controller & Finance Director with concise, and clear updates and ensure all issues are escalated in a timely manner
  • Maintain and improve standardisation of tasks and processes
  • Other Ad hoc projects


What we’re looking for


  • Qualified or partly qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA
  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience working in a similar role
  • Self-starter and able to identify & develop solutions
  • Good attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel / MS Office capability
  • Able to explain and interpret complex financial information
  • Able to work in a fast pace environment
