About the role

To be a key member of the Procurement Team at Muc-Off. Every day, actively contributing and supporting the Operations Team by always ensuring components and product availability in line with the Company target levels. To participate in overall business success, demonstrating efficient and pro-active supplier management. To reinforce the Procurement Team structure, through the knowledge and experience share.


Key responsibilities

What we’re looking for

  • Nurturing and management of relationships with the key suppliers, to negotiate the best prices for the Company, based on production requirements through the MRP system
  • Monitoring business trends and product availability to pay the best price for company goods and services without sacrificing quality or delivery times
  • Maintaining optimum componentry and product stock levels in line with the Company targets
  • Liaising closely with key company employees to determine component and product requirements
  • Creating Purchase Orders and issuing to suppliers once approved. Ensuring all suppliers Order Acknowledgments/Confirmations are matching with PO details
  • Proactive management of open orders and delivery dates with suppliers based on the actual demand and production requirements. Advising all relevant stakeholders of any delays promptly
  • Ensuring correct supplier payment terms are maintained, including liaising with an Accounts Team regarding account status and payments
  • Managing QCD performance of suppliers (late delivery, quality issues, damages, price issues), ensuring suitable corrective and preventative actions are implemented
  • Maintenance of system master data including suppliers, materials, pricing etc
  • Managing the discontinuation or change in product specification through the system
  • Ongoing promotion of continuous improvement on existing supply chain, systems and processes throughout the Business
  • Adhere to all Muc-Off Health, Safety and Environmental Policies
  • Carry out any reasonable tasks requested by a Director or Member of the Management Team


  • At least 2 years in a similar role, ideally within an FMCG environment
  • Experience in sourcing from Far East supplier base – including effective vendor management
  • Experience of SAP (or other MRP systems) and all Microsoft Office applications
  • Self-motivated and result driven, able to work independently within and beyond the scope of responsibility
  • Able to build and maintain effective and productive relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers globally
  • A team player who thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong analytical and business acumen skills with ability to present key findings in a clear way


  • SAP Business One experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of SLA and Product Supply Agreement set up and management
  • Supplier pricing negotiation techniques
  • Supplier base optimisation
  • Ability to create and develop value-add situations within managed supplier base
