Two wins. One final push for the title.

Scott Redding and Hager PBM Racing brought the fight to the British Superbike season finale at Brands Hatch, giving the Muc-Off crew plenty to shout about.

Scott left the weekend as championship runner-up after an epic comeback victory, a sprint race win and a hard-fought wet finale.

RACE ONE: 11TH TO THE TOP STEP!

Saturday’s opener looked like a tall order when Scott found himself down in 11th on the opening lap. Then the rain flags came out and the comeback was on.

Scott carved through the field, reached fourth by lap ten and made his move on championship leader Kyle Ryde at Paddock Hill Bend.

The Comeback Kid soon built a commanding lead before the race was red flagged for rain on lap 15, sealing a massive win for Scott ahead of Kyle Ryde.

The title fight was still alive.

RACE TWO: BACK-TO-BACK WINS

Sunday’s sprint put Scott and Ryde wheel to wheel at the front. Starting from pole, Scott fought back into the lead at Paddock Hill Bend and held firm to take his second victory of the weekend and ninth of the season.

Ryde’s third place secured the championship, and Scott was quick to congratulate his rival after the flag. That’s racing at its best: flat-out competition and respect when it counts.

RACE THREE: ONE LAST BATTLE

Tricky wet conditions greeted the grid for the final race. Scott ran third in the early stages behind Vickers and Ryde before Joe Talbot passed him on lap 11. He crossed the line fourth, bringing an eventful Brands Hatch weekend to a close.

AN EPIC SEASON COMES TO A CLOSE.

The numbers tell their own story: 9x wins, 10x second places, 3x third places and 22x podiums across 33 races. Scott finished second in the Riders’ Championship with 550 points, while nine holeshots earned him the Datatag Fast Start League crown.

Hager PBM Racing also took second in the Ceratizit Teams’ Trophy, with the squad’s results helping Ducati secure the Manufacturers’ Championship.

“While we came agonisingly close to securing the championship, there is still an enormous amount to celebrate,” said team co-owner Jordan Bird.

We’re stoked to have been part of the ride. Huge respect to Scott and every member of the Hager PBM Racing crew for fighting all the way to the final flag.

Bring on 2027.
