Built Specifically for Harley-Davidson® Motorcycles
Different materials, finishes, and functional surfaces require different care. Using the wrong product can create unwanted gloss, damage a finish, or introduce a safety risk.
That is why the Muc-Off x Harley-Davidson® range includes dedicated formulas for every stage of motorcycle care—from removing heavy road grime to adding the final protective shine.
Instead of using one product everywhere, riders can select the right formula for the surface, finish, and type of contamination they are dealing with.
Choose the Right Product for the Job
- Bike Wash: The starting point for heavily soiled motorcycles that need a thorough, rinse-based cleaning. Its Nano Tech formula lifts dirt, oil, and road grime and is suitable for paint, chrome, carbon fiber, matte surfaces, and blacked-out finishes. It is also disc brake rotor and pad friendly when used as directed.
- Waterless Wash: Designed for light dust, fingerprints, and quick cleanups between rides. Its spray-on, wipe-off formula cleans and polishes without water. For heavy or gritty contamination, use Bike Wash instead.
- Bug & Tar Remover: A targeted treatment for stubborn bug splatter, tar, tree sap, and road grime. It is suitable for compatible paint, metal, chrome, hard plastics, and glass, helping remove contamination without aggressive scrubbing.
- Matte Surface Detailer: Created specifically for matte and satin finishes, cleaning away fingerprints and marks without adding unwanted gloss.
- Protect & Shine: An after-wash protectant that disperses residual moisture, helps prevent dirt adhesion, and leaves a dry, non-sticky protective film. It can be used on suitable frames, engines, metal parts, plastics, rubber, chains, and paint.
- Speed Wax: An all-in-one polish and wax for suitable glossy paint, metal, and plastic. Its Carnauba Wax-based formula adds deep gloss and creates a hydrophobic, water-resistant barrier.

Safety Starts With the Right Application
Choosing the correct product is only part of the process. Each formula must also be applied to the correct surfaces.
When using the range:
- Never apply Speed Wax or Protect & Shine to brake discs, brake pads, or other braking surfaces.
- Keep Speed Wax and other finishing products away from grips and foot pegs.
- Do not use Speed Wax on matte or satin finishes. Use Matte Surface Detailer instead.
- Work on a cool motorcycle and avoid direct sunlight.
- Do not allow Bike Wash to dry on the surface. Leave it for three to five minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
- Do not use Waterless Wash on heavy grit or grime, as wiping gritty contamination may scratch the finish.
- Always use clean microfiber cloths to avoid dragging trapped dirt across finished surfaces.
- Follow the instructions and safety warnings provided with each product.
A Simple Harley-Davidson® Care Routine
For a full cleaning, begin by rinsing away loose dirt and debris. Apply Bike Wash across the motorcycle, leave it to work for three to five minutes, and gently agitate stubborn areas before rinsing thoroughly. Do not allow the cleaner to dry.
After washing, apply Protect & Shine to suitable surfaces to disperse remaining moisture and help protect against corrosion. Mask braking surfaces before application and wipe away any excess product with a clean microfiber cloth.
For the finishing step, use Speed Wax on suitable glossy paint, metal, and plastic. Apply Matte Surface Detailer to matte or satin finishes instead.
Between full washes, Waterless Wash provides a quick solution for light dust and fingerprints. Bug & Tar Remover can be used when targeted treatment is needed for stubborn contamination.
