Is your youngster the next big thing? Muc-Off and our UCI MTB Youth Team Muc-Off Young Guns are on the hunt for fresh talent to join the team! Riders don’t need to have any mountain bike or racing experience, they just need to be based in the UK, aged 12-15 with permission from a parent or guardian, and have some raw bike skills – That’s it! This could be their ticket to the next level. Sound rad? Hell yeah!

THE TEAM
We’re giving UK-based three riders the chance to join the Young Guns development squad for the rest of 2023, one of which will be offered an elite-level rider spot on the team for the 2024 season.
Create a video of your grom shredding the gnar - hitting the trails, bossing the skatepark, or smashing it round the local track, just capture it and then upload to YouTube or Vimeo. (You can use the ‘Unlisted’ setting to keep things private).
If you are happy to share it with the world then you could also upload it onto Insta or TikTok and tag us and the team in it!

Our judging panel will review all the entries, and decide upon a shortlist of 8 of the most talented riders. The shortlist of 8 will be invited to an all-expenses-paid trial at Bike Park Wales in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales, on 13th April. This is their chance to get to know the team, and have some fun riding the trails with them.
From the trial day, 3 of the 8 shortlisted riders will be invited to join the team’s development squad for the remainder of the season. This means they get kitted out from head to toe with team kit and components plus access to coaching! If they don’t have a suitable mountain bike already, a Mondraker 2022 team bike will also be made available.
1 of the 3 riders will be invited to step up from the development team to become a fully-supported rider rider, where they’ll receive full team support including 2 Mondraker team bikes, a higher level of development, training and racing support, as well as a highly coveted custom team Muc-Off helmet for the 2024 season.
