From Aussie dirt tracks to the top of the AMA Supercross podium, Chad Reed’s career isn’t just legendary — it’s tattoo-worthy.
Now? He’s laying down roots in Chesterfield, South Carolina, and getting his boots dirty with the next gen of riders.
FROM BLU CRU TO CLUBMX
This whole thing kicked off when Reed rolled into Club MX for a Yamaha BLU CRU camp back in April. He came with his family, expecting a cool weekend. What he found was a whole vibe. The facility? Next level. The people? Pure passion. The energy? Just right.
“I’ve always felt like Yamaha was family,” Reed said. “Club MX gave off the same energy. It felt like home.”
After the camp, the Reeds hit the road to a Loretta Lynn’s qualifier… but Club MX stuck in their heads. So, they came back — and this time, it clicked.
When the RV door opened, the kids scattered — Tate grabbed a pickleball paddle, Kiah found her crew, and little Pace headed off to fish like he owned the place. That’s when Chad and Ellie knew: this wasn’t just a pit stop.
Reed hit up ClubMX founder Brandon Haas with the question: What if I stayed?
“I didn’t know if he meant a day, a week, or forever,” Haas said. “But once we got talking, it was clear — Chad was in. Fully in.”
Now he’s taking on a consulting role — working with the staff, mentoring pro riders, dialing in track prep, coaching, and just straight-up bringing it. But don’t get it twisted — he’s not some guy in a golf cart barking orders. Chad’s doing this his way: real, raw, and relentless.

Yeah, Chad’s got a list of accolades longer than a roll of duct tape. He’s a two-time AMA Supercross champ, a Moto of Nations crusher, and he’s got more podium finishes than some riders have gate drops. But right now? It’s not about the past. It’s about the future.
