About the Role

The Compliance Data Analyst will support the Compliance team by analysing data, producing reports and identifying potential risks or issues.

The role will help ensure compliance information is accurate, reliable and easy to understand.

The role is based at our Head Office in Bournemouth; however, regular travel to our warehouse in Southampton will be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyse compliance and business data to identify trends, errors and potential risks.
  • Prepare regular compliance reports and management information.
  • Create and maintain dashboards and reports using Excel, Power BI or similar tools.
  • Check data for accuracy and investigate any issues or inconsistencies.
  • Support compliance monitoring, audits and risk assessments.
  • Produce ad-hoc analysis when required.
  • Work with Compliance, Risk, IT and other teams to resolve data issues.
  • Help improve and automate reporting processes.
  • Maintain accurate records and ensure data is handled confidentially.
  • Keep up to date with relevant compliance and regulatory requirements.

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • Experience in a data analyst, reporting, compliance or similar role.
  • Good Excel skills.
  • Experience working with large amounts of data.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to explain data and findings clearly.
  • Good organisational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Desirable

  • Experience using SQL.
  • Experience with Power BI or another reporting tool.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry.
  • Knowledge of compliance, risk or regulatory requirements.
  • Experience with data quality and reporting processes.
