Aprilia Racing have officially unveiled their colours for the 2026 MotoGP season – and there’s no mistaking the message: this team is ready for the fight!
As proud sponsors of Jorge Martín, we’re buzzing to see Aprilia’s latest RS-GP break cover. The iconic colours remain, but there’s a bold new addition – the lion. A symbol pulled straight from Aprilia’s heritage and one that says everything about where this team’s head is at.
This isn’t just a design update. The lion represents power, strength, determination and courage. Inspired by the Leone Alato – the historic symbol of Venice and a nod to Aprilia’s home in Noale – it stands for a team that digs in when things get tough and comes back harder every time.
Built on a Breakthrough Season
2025 was a huge year for Aprilia Racing.
The factory finished second in the Constructors’ Championship with 418 points, smashing the 400-point mark for the first time in its history and underlining just how far the project has come.
The numbers don’t lie:
- Third in the Riders’ Championship with Marco Bezzecchi on 353 points
- 19 podiums across the season
- Four Grand Prix wins and three Tissot Sprint victories
- Five pole positions, matching the team’s all-time best
- Aprilia’s 300th Grand Prix win across all classes, ending the year on 302
- The most successful European manufacturer in Grand Prix racing history
That momentum sets the tone for 2026. The goal? Another step forward – and more fights at the front.
RS-GP26: Sharper, Faster, Hungrier
At the heart of Aprilia’s 2026 charge is the RS-GP26 – an evolution in every sense.
This isn’t about ripping everything up. It’s about refining what already works and pushing it further:
- Cleaner, more efficient aerodynamics
- Revised chassis architecture
- Smarter electronics
- A heavily developed V4 engine across all unrestricted areas
Led by Fabiano Sterlacchini, Aprilia’s engineers have stayed true to the brand’s innovative DNA, delivering a bike designed to go toe-to-toe with the very best in MotoGP.
Aprilia Racing CEO Massimo Rivola put it simply:
“The goal now is to battle in every race. We believe very much in the RS-GP26 and we maintain that it has great potential, as do our riders.”

Jorge Martín: Locked In for the Fight
After a frustrating 2025, Jorge Martín arrives at Aprilia with one thing on his mind: getting back where he belongs.
“The goal now is to keep growing together. I want to get back to battling for the top spots and winning. As soon as I am at 100% fitness, we’ll be ready for anything.”
And when it comes to partnerships, Martín is just as clear:
“I’m stoked to have Muc-Off onboard again for the 2026 season. I’m a huge fan of the brand and use their products all the time on my practice bike and bicycle. I’m confident that together we can achieve big things in 2026.”
Jorge Martín, Factory Aprilia Racing
That mindset is exactly why we back him. Relentless, focused and never satisfied – it’s how Jorge races and how we do things at Muc-Off.
With a lion on the fairing, a fast RS-GP under him and unfinished business ahead, 2026 is shaping up to be a big one.
From everyone at Muc-Off, we’re proud to stand behind Jorge Martín as he line's up to unleash his most determined challenge yet.
