To say we at Muc-Off are a tad obsessed with keeping your kit clean would be an understatement. We know that a clean rig will keep you riding for longer whilst offering an optimised performance that can also save you a whole wad of cash in the long run.
However, after a long day in the saddle, we appreciate that cleaning your bike might not be top of the priority list. For those days when you’ve not quite kicked up enough dust to warrant an extensive scrub down, or you simply just don’t feel like a meticulous clean, we’ve put together a quick ‘how-to-clean-your-bike-in-5-minutes-or-less’ guide.
Stopwatches at the ready!
Step 1: Grab your dirty bike.
Step 2: Give it a quick hose down before spraying Muc-Off Nano Tech Bike Cleaner over the entire bike frame, making sure to keep your bike out of direct sunlight.
Step 3: Allow a couple of minutes for activation.
Step 4: Use your Expanding Microcell Sponge to give your frame a quick once-over. Agitate extra grimy areas with our soft washing brush- designed to clean your wheels and components while caring for delicate finishes. It also features an oversized head for fast cleaning of large areas.
Step 5: Rinse and dry with a Microfibre Cloth.
Step 6: Select your lube and apply to your chain. Rotate pedals backwards whilst applying your chosen Muc-Off lube to the inside of the chain links.
Step 7: Kick back and relax! For best results, leave your bike overnight before your next ride.
