Welcome to the #TRASHOFF Challenge!
We’ve teamed up with Trash Free Trails to support their new Autumn Litter Watch Live project. This Halloween, we’re fighting back against the horrors of plastic pollution – and we want you to join in.
Trash Free Trails is an environmental non-profit organisation, with a mission to reduce litter on our trails and wild places by 75% by 2025 and re-connect people to nature by empowering community led trail stewardship. We’re launching the #TRASHOFF Challenge to help protect our local trails and countryside. So when you’re shredding this spooky season here’s what you need to do to get involved.
-
Find a Trash Hotspot
And post a photo on your Instagram saying you’re going to clean it -
Tag up to 5 friends at the same time
The more shredders helping, the cleaner our trails are -
Clean the Trash Hotspot
Just make sure to stay safe, there’s more on that below -
Then post a before and after photo with #TRASHOFF
Don’t forget the hashtag, we want to see all the amazing work going on -
Submit your data here so we can see where’s been cleaned up
Trash Free Trails are building a report and your data is super useful
How to stay safe
- Have no more than six people cleaning up at one time.
- Make sure you’ve got a Face Mask
- Make sure you have gloves for scuff and germ protection.
- Don't forget your Antibac Hand Gel or Hand Sanitiser
Need any of that? Head right this way...
