About the role

We are looking for a HR Generalist to join the business to complete the entire ‘life cycle’, of our employees.  Reporting to the HR Director, you will be responsible for delivering a first-class generalist HR service to both managers and employees throughout the business.   This role will involve implementing HR Policies, supporting various HR procedures and ensuring compliance with company policies and UK employment law.

Key responsibilities:

  • Act as a proactive member of the HR team, supporting the HR Director to achieve departmental and company objectives
  • Management of the HR Inbox, providing first line support and escalating complex queries to the HR Director
  • Full recruitment cycle
  • Prepare and issuing offer letters/contracts of employment and new starter paperwork across the business
  • Co-ordinate and induct all new starters through our onboarding process
  • Assist with payroll data for our external payroll company
  • Manage the reference/probation/performance review processes
  • Source/manage and book training for all staff
  • Assist with the Health & Safety administration for the business
  • Organising Social Events
  • Provide cover for Office Managers

What we’re looking for

  • CIPD Level 3 desirable
  • Proven experience within a HR
  • Experience administering HR information systems
  • Strong ability to build positive relationships with managers and employees at all levels
  • Knowledge of practical applications of current UK employment law, procedures, and processes
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word/Excel and Outlook
