It’s the final Tech Tuesday of 2020!

It’s been a big year, in many ways. But a highlight of ours was launching our Project Green environmental initiative. So as we wind down for the year, we thought we’d take a look at one of the first products that inspired us to turn the brand-wide campaign into a reality: our Cleaner Concentrate.

Our Bike Cleaner Concentrate is, as the name suggests, a concentrated version of our Nano Tech Bike Cleaner, which not only uses nano technology to break dirt down on a molecular level, but is also biodegradable. Our Bike Cleaner Concentrate is considered readily biodegradable, as it has the natural ability to biodegrade to a natural state, when exposed to sunlight, water and microbial activity, from 60-100% in 28 days. This is all based on OECD Test Guidelines and EU legislation, so you know we’ve done our homework.

Our concentrated version first hit the shelves a few years back, in a bid to reduce our impact on the environment. With less transportation of water it means less trucks driving around, which leads to less CO2 emissions.

But there’s more. Our 500ml pouch version uses 89% less plastic than a regular 1L bottle of Nano Tech Bike Cleaner. And with that, you can rustle up two litres of Nano Tech Bike Cleaner. Plus we’ve got a 1L concentrate bottle version which gets you five litres of bike cleaner. Or if you’re really looking to go mad for cleaning, our 5L concentrate bottle will make up an incredible 25 litres of Nano Tech – that’s a heck of a lot of bike washing…

With our 5L concentrate version, not only will you need to stock up even less, but they’re also kerbside recyclable too!

To make the refill process as durable and sustainable as possible, we’ve beefed-up the foaming triggers on our bottles to stand the test of time, meaning you can refill again and again until your heart’s content.

If you do get to the end of your Nano Tech Bike Cleaner bottle though, its life isn’t over just yet! We’ve put together a template that allows you to turn your bottle into a rad upcycled mudguard. Why not give it a go?

Will 2021 be the year you stock up sustainably? If the answer is ‘HELL YEAH’, then click here and fill your boots.
